I'm a volunteer education manager with the National Trust in Glencoe living permanently in a bothy. After I graduated and applied for jobs, everyone was asking for two years experience which I didn't have. Typical catch 22 situation where you have the qualifications but not the experience. There's now 4 volunteers which means we can put a lot more activities in place this summer, like a wildlife garden for the local primary school.
