Petition news

You may remember receiving an email (or several !) from us in April asking you to sign a petition raised by former ProjectScotland volunteer, Kimby Tosh.

The petition is now closed and an amazing 1177 people supported Kimby in her mission to ask the Scottish Government to implement a national youth volunteering policy for Scotland. Well done Kimby, and a mammoth pat on the back for everyone’s support in signing the petition.

Kimby’s petition will go before the Petitions Committee at the beginning of November.

Watch this space for updates!

Easy Peasey Fundraising

Back at ProjectScotland HQ we’ve been making sure we do all our shopping through Easy Fundraising and we’ve been surprised just how easy it is.

Visit Easy Fundraising to set up your account and get shopping.

They are running a couple of special deals at the moment that will help raise even more money for ProjectScotland:

LOVEFiLM

Sign up to a free 14 day trial from LOVEFiLM and generate an £8 donation for ProjectScotland (just remember to cancel it before the 14 days are up!)

eBay

If you’re not already a member of the biggest online auction community, get signed up and Easy Fundraising will donate £4 to ProjectScotland. You could always sell stuff in aid of ProjectScotland too!
