Living Solutions aims to protect and preserve the environment. One of their main projects, WILD (wildlife in little dominions) offers a wildlife gardening service and provides volunteering, training/education and work opportunities.

Jamie Clarke (17), Fife.
“I have only been volunteering for a few weeks now and it has got me out of the house more. I have enjoyed doing things like demolishing a caravan, I hope to gain more experience in gardening, woodlands work and eco-building through my placement.”

Michael Duff (21), Fife.
“I started volunteering to learn new skills and improve my job prospects. I am most proud of the sensory garden we did in Glenrothes, seeing it finished gave me a real sense of achievement. I have gained many skills in woodland maintenance and gardening through volunteering with Living Solutions and I am hoping to do woodlands work full-time. volunteering through ProjectScotland has given me the skills and confidence I need to achieve this.”

Steven Lennon (18), Fife.
“I started volunteering to help my local community. Through this placement I hope to learn new skills and get a job. ProjectScotland has helped me to get out of the house more and meet new people”
