A night to remember

Posted on February 5, 2016

On Wednesday night we celebrated 10 years of helping young people to get on in life at our 10th Birthday Fundraising Dinner. Joined by almost 250 of our friends, partners, volunteers, and supporters we raised an amazing £30,983. We’re still receiving donations, auction income, and ticket sales, so we’ll release another income update next week.

If you missed it, check out our Twitter feed, search #Weare10, or here’s a quick re-cap…

Andy Nicol nailed it as MC, Annabelle Ewing spoke-up about supporting young people to achieve, Ian McAteer reflected on how we ‘pack a punch’, we learned of Mark Beaumont’s amazing adventures, InChrous filled the room with song, our CEO danced the YMCA, Natasha Easton brought a tear to our eye, and we premièred our new film.

If you were there, THANK YOU for coming! We have been overwhelmed by the donations and messages of support for our charity. Bolstered by you, we are looking forward to the next 10 years with hope, positivity, and a fire in our belly to help more and more young people.
