Are you struggling with stress? We are working tirelessly to support our volunteers during this period of great uncertainty. Our lives have changed and we’re all trying to adapt to a new normal but change can be stressful.
We therefore wanted to introduce you to someone who teaches yoga to young people in Scotland, following her own experience of using yoga as a tool for stress and anxiety.
Lily Buchanan runs a Social Enterprise focussed on making yoga and meditation accessible to young people. She has been practicing yoga since she was a teenager and is a keen student of the power of the mind-body connection, believing that yoga and other forms of movement are medicine for both physical and mental health issues.
A qualified Teen Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, Lily has just launched a free YouTube channel with the aim of introducing young people to yoga and meditation to overcome both mental and physical challenges.
