Talking about his placement, Lewis said: “I’m enjoying the placement and the manual outdoor work as much as I thought I would. I’m hoping that this placement will lead to a job in a similar field because I’ve enjoyed this so much. I’ve received lots of support from ProjectScotland and Mark [Youth Engagement Manager] has been a legend.”

Mark, Youth Engagement Manager said: “From my first meeting with Lewis, his enthusiasm and desire to reach his goals really stood out. For a young lad to be working full time and still commit to volunteering his spare time to achieve his goals was very inspiring. I have no doubt that with Lewis’ attitude that he will fulfil his ambitions and lead him to the job that he deserves.”
