Meet your Mentor – why just survive self-isolation, when you can thrive?

Posted on April 2, 2020

Feeling trapped? Need to speak to someone that’s not your Mum (sorry Mums)?

Are you a young person (aged 16-35) currently trapped at home? Sorry, what we mean is…are you self-isolating responsibly as per The Scottish Government guidelines? If so, we think you would benefit from an introduction to one of our amazing mentors!

Here’s why…

We are incredibly lucky to have a diverse, passionate and committed bunch of mentors who have vast experience of supporting young people on a one to one basis. And the even better news – they can support even more volunteers remotely.

We know how hard and lonely it is during lockdown so we want to make it easy for you to stay positive and productive. Our mentors can help with:

  • Coping strategies
  • Building resilience
  • Preparing you for your return to volunteering or the start of a new placement as soon as it is safe to do so

Please get in touch if you are in need of a supportive chat that isn’t with mum (no offence mum).

  • Email matt.sellar@projectscotland.co.uk or give him a call on 07469851298

Stay home. Stay Safe. Meet your Mentor.
