National youth volunteering organisation ProjectScotland has launched its latest advertising campaign promoting the benefits of volunteering to 18 to 30 year olds.
The campaign features 2 videos called ‘Mother’ and ‘Employer’ that will initially run against youth programming on 4OD and STV player in Scotland. The creative promotes volunteering as a good thing to do (it will make your mother proud!), and volunteering as a great way to get the skills you need to get the job you want.
Kevin Lelland, Head of Marketing at ProjectScotland says, “It’s important that our brand strikes a balance between communicating the benefits of volunteering to young people and the positive impact that has in communities across the country. These adverts do that in a relevant and fun way. They show that volunteering can help build experience of work while also being something to be proud of doing.“
The pre-roll platform allows the charity to target potential volunteers based on age and interests, whether they are based in Glasgow or Galloway, Edinburgh or Inverness.
