We’ve teamed up with the Edinburgh Marathon Festival to give you the opportunity to volunteer as part of their Race Crew. As a volunteer you can gain great event experience, build your CV and enjoy meeting lots of new people. As part of this event you will also be given first aid training (with accompanying British Red Cross First Aid certificate), a race crew t-shirt and we can provide a reference if required.

Where & When

Edinburgh Marathon finishing area, Musselburgh, 25th May 2014.

Volunteers will be required between 8am and 5pm and will be provided with Race Crew gear and Food Vouchers on the day. The ProjectScotland volunteers will be situated at the finishing area of the Edinburgh Marathon. It’s a great opportunity to gain valuable training and experience to add to your CV.

Race Crew training is available on the 7th May at 6.30pm at the EICA Ratho. This session isn’t compulsory, but those attending will receive information about the day and a British Red Cross First Aid certificate.

The organisers of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival have asked us to provide volunteers who are ready to take on tasks, get stuck in and support the runners. You’ll be given training so no experience is necessary, just plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Race Crew volunteers must be at least 16 years of age on the day of the event.
