We’ve teamed up with Breaking strain events  to offer FREE PLACES  to take part in this year’s Run the Blades 10K, Half Marathon and 50K Ultra Run.

Over the weekend of the 20th & 21st of July we’re looking for a team of runners to take part in the run the blades on behalf of ProjectScotland.

Held within the stunning yet exposed landscape of Whitelee Wind Farm, 20 minutes from Central Glasgow, the event offers a challenging course across mixed moorland and forests past wind turbines that tower 140 metres above the trail. Fully supported by Whitelee Countryside Ranger Service you’ll maybe chance upon one of the hundreds of species of birds, adders or deer that live within the boundaries of the wind farm. On a clear day you’ll be able to see Glasgow and in the distance even the coast of Northern Ireland.
