National Trust for Scotland – Events volunteer at Pollock House

Get experience at one of the UK’s leading charities. Volunteering as part of the events team you’ll get to see how events are organized and delivered. There is also the chance to get involved in a research project and to help in various ways around the project.

Possibilities East End Kids (PEEK)- Youth and Children volunteer

Volunteering here is varied and includes activities with children aged 5 and upwards. This brilliant charity runs, funclubs, streetplay and theatre groups as well as PEEKenders, unsurprisingly at the weekends, and lots of workshops. You can work with the charity to develop your volunteering to tailor your experience to suit your interests and availability.

Free Wheel North – Special Needs Cycling volunteer

This is a chance to combine a passion for cycling with doing great things in your community. The right person and quite quickly grow their responsibility and get a variety of experience across the organisation. For example, you can get involved in leading bike trips with people of varied abilities including supporting visitors with finding and learning how to use bikes best suited to them.
